Tazer19
Chicago Stadium.....!!!! Hands down The BEST place to watch an NHL game.....just the sounds alone were worth the trip to the old barn....
conroyfan22
AHL War Memorial Arena (Syracuse) NCAA, ECAC (D1) Cheel Arena (Clarkson, been to too many to count) Appleton Arena, (Saint Lawrence University, fondly referred to as "Crappleton", been to a few dozen games here) (Ancient photo, but the arena still looks the same. As much as I hate SLU, and hate going to games there, it is a gorgeous arena.)
7keys
Chicago Stadium.....!!!! Hands down The BEST place to watch an NHL game.....just the sounds alone were worth the trip to the old barn.... I always wished I had a chance to see a Hawks, or even a Bulls game, and the old stadium but never had a chance. The only arenas I've been to are the United Center (Chicago) and Detroit. bender
Moose-era MTS Centre. Yes, there wasn't a lot of love for the Moose (except you jerseys collectors). There was a lot of good buzz when they made the Calder Cup finals though--Whiteout and everything. I remember my seat being reaaaaally cramped--almost no leg room (and I'm 5'8). Still hoping to catch a Jets game for face value. I won't be looking forward to seeing fake jerseys. There's actually official Jets ads that show people wearing fake jerseys
NYIJM29
Just came back from the Prudential Center. Took the train (LIRR/NJ thinggy). Gotta say, the arena is beautiful. I sat in the 200s, center ice, and while the view may be comparable to the Coliseum's 500s section (non-existant, unless you count the sky boxes, which is what I am basing it on), the view was not that bad. Too bad the Isles lost , but as we sing, We love ya, we love ya, we love ya, and where you play, we'll follow, we'll follow, we'll follow because we support Long Island ... ... ... Sluggermatt15
Only arena I've been to is the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh. But that will change in a couple weeks as I am going to a Caps game at Verizon Center. Looks like a beautiful building on tv and I bet it's even better in person! Adam
An update: Went to two games at Consol Energy Center last week. First class arena, just doesn't have the soul yet. Great views everywhere.
Krendelev
NHL Olympia (Red Wings) Joe Louis (Red Wings) Maple Leaf Garden United Center (Chicago) Going to a game in Columbus in a few weeks IHL Palace of Auburn Hills (Vipers) Went to a game of the Detroit minor league team that Draper and a few other Wings played for during the strike year. I've already forgotten the name of the team. Detroit Mechanics or something like that. College Yost Arena (University of Michigan) Michigan State, don't remember name of the building. Like someone above said, most of my travels are in the summer to baseball stadiums. I've been to a lot more of those.

Gr8erade
I've been to games at The Old Boston Garden (from the rafters to ice level, Bruins games and Beanpot. You really couldn't beat that place. LOL) The TD Garden (I might be biased, but of the new arenas I've been in, it is my favorite) Nassau Coliseum (still a great place to watch a game. Sight lines are great. Just nothing else very good about it) MSG (I prefer Nassau to MSG to actually watch a game, though I once had seats in the press and family area, entered them via the player's tunnel and almost got run over by Jaromir Jagr as he was coming off from warm-ups. Big dude. LOL) Prudential Center in Newark (I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Wasn't surprised at all the empty seats, even for the Finals). Wells Fargo Center in Philly. (I was there when Boston clubbed them 6-0, so it was hard to get a good gauge of the building since it was full of silent fans) Verizon Center in DC (This one struck me as bland, despite all the red lights and jerseys) Rogers Arena in Vancouver (I was there for Game 7. One of the few who was having a great time in the building. Was surprised at how "corporate" it seemed inside and the mayhem outside, especially compared to the atmosphere in Boston. I'd like to make a trip through the rest of the Original Six at the very least. I've actually played games in the Bright Center (at Harvard), the Matthews/Boston Arena (at Northeastern), and at the old BU arena. I haven't been to the new Agganis Arena. I'm pretty positive I've skated at BC too, but it doesn't particularly stick out in my mind. I'm not counting the other D3 rinks around the Boston area.
