Would have really liked to see Doan playing for Canada. Oh well.

Agreed... Im a bit of a homer but I think Doan's a better fit than Morrow or Berguron. Then again, Doan's been very cold as of late.

He has been playing solid grinding hockey. The game against Vancouver, he was hitting practically everything in sight.

I would say im surprised to see that Jack Johnson made the team. I thought i was hearing that Johnson wasnt having his best year and is -11 on a pretty good team. Where as you have a player like Tim Gleason who is a -4 on a horrible Carolina team, is a stay home defensemen and could possibly throw you some points the way he has been producing this year.

Im all for going youth but i flat out down understand that one. Thats just my opinion and not in Carolina homer way.

No David Aebischer, huh?

Too bad Nino Niederreiter has got to wait four years. He certainly raised his profile at the World Juniors, but is still too young for the senior team this time out.

Hopp Schwiiz!

Ha! That's the way to think around here. I am not so sold on the jerseys for the various countries this year but I can't wait for the Olympics to begin. Plus with the games being on this continent, there is no sacrificing sleep for hockey this time around!

No skipping sleep, but skipping work may be in order - the first two Team USA (Mens) games are at 3:00pm EST. Atleast the big matchup vs Canada is during primetime at 7:40pm EST (eventhough it's Sunday so time doesn't matter as much).
