great1
Huh?? I can honestly say I've never seen that before. Is that for real though? Because I've seen gamers from that time period and they didn't have red in the leaf. After doing a bit of research I found one Leaf site that says it was only worn in the 1947 season and I found this on another site, I couldn't find any photos of these jerseys being worn though. Sluggermatt15
Yeah it might be difficult to tell whether it's red or not because in the 40s most of the photographs were in black and white. Sure, you can tell that the crest is white, but it's hard to tell if the lettering is red or not. Also, not sure if there were many color photos back then. Most of the pictures of Leafs players from the mid-40s are in black and white that are on the Leafs page from Sportsecyclopedia. So I really can't tell. I just know from nhluniform.com, which great1 pointed out, that the "Toronto Maple Leafs" lettering on the front leaf crest was in red for at least one season. 4freezy
Took advantage of Meigray's Summer Sale and picked up this Ryan Johnson gamer. It's a Set 3, used late in the 2008-09 season and playoffs. Nice wear, and was one of the less expensive RBK 2.0 jerseys on the site.

Brilliant!
Well, that image I think says it all. For Photos Only, to me, means they wore special jerseys for photoshoots with the red lettering on them but also that none were ever worn on the ice. That would make the most sense seeing as how all the ones I've seen from that time period(yeah...all THREE! ) were blue colored.

Brilliant!
Milt had Roman Vopat's a few days ago but checking it now, it looks like it's gone. It was cheap too; $750 or something. No surprise that it's long gone. You know, I understand the appeal because of how rare it is and everything...but man that is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. If you dig it though, more power to you!

rob77ta
Got this 2000-2001 Flyers Chris McAllister game worn jersey today. Light wear mostly stick marks. The Flyers retired the orange jersey after 2000-2001.
tasty
Sick Felix....He's one of the few non-Penguins that I loved while growing up. I think it was because of his pads and helmet....but I enjoyed the guy. Love the jersey....

JeffB
Here are the finished results of a long, on going project I am very happy to have finally completed. While at first glance they may all look the same, on closer inspection they are either different brands or patched differently from each other depending on which tournament they were worn in. Displaced Swede - FJC
Re: Jeff's Sweden Jerseys I approve. I may be biased, but i think Sweden has one of the more underated uniforms as far as IIHF goes, i mean sure....with the horizontal lines and the tre kronor it kind of resembles what I like to call "A Swedish Jack O' Lantern" but its definitely an awesome jersey...
