ZoomZoom18
My list of Starters continues to grow: I love it! *sniff* One of my first authentic jerseys and one of my favorite all-time Avs jerseys. I loved the Starter jerseys from the mid-90s. They were a great quality.
ZoomZoom18
thats the jersey i have... the quality is not bad but im pretty sure its a nockoff of somesort. It is well made though,soI cant complain much. The "real"ones are crazy expensive, there is one for $389 or so on ebay right now. That's a nice jersey style, even if its a knockoff. I can't get over how popular those are. I'm hoping/praying they come out with that style in the vintage line.
lafountain
I like that Vermont jersey. Looks like the inspiration for the new Stars jerseys! What's that shoulder patch look like? The shoulder patch.

I loved the Starter jerseys from the mid-90s. They were a great quality. I too loved the Starter jerseys. When the went out of business, I was able to pick up quite a few Starter authentics fairly cheap ($50). I really liked the materials. My favs were Phoenix, LA, Carolina, Florida, NYR third, and the Avs. Avs and NYR were mesh and very comfortable to wear. They still look great! Good pickups! If you get a chance to grab a Starter, do it.

I ordered it for like $85 from 1-800-Pro-Team. I loved that thing so much I took my senior pictures in it.
VAI999
That guys been peddling that Bure jersey on eBay for some time now. I think the fact that nobody's bought it speaks volumes.I like that Vermont jersey. Looks like the inspiration for the new Stars jerseys! What's that shoulder patch look like? Actually, he sells them everytime he puts them up. They go from $200 - $250 all day, even the Linden version of the same jersey sells for about $200 Check out the replica Lemieux that sold for $300 plus http://search-completed.ebay.com/search/se...ntrypage=search Im not saying there the greatest replica's but he seems to do some pretty heavy business

VAI999
Probably embroidered by another company. no problem if you have the right stitching pattern Like I said they are really well done for knock offs, unless he is getting NOS (New Old Stock) Blanks and having them stitched, thats a possibility... JustAnothaVictim
I finally customised my Canucks home jersey. I hope the player was a good choice. Once again, hand cut and sewn all by myself using that satin material that is used on their game used jerseys. I cut the C and the numbers the same way they did in season 97-98. http://image52.webshots.com/452/3/22/28/28...99KFgCdm_fs.jpg http://image50.webshots.com/550/4/15/93/28...99oXwqxk_fs.jpg http://image55.webshots.com/555/1/98/81/26...99ClurGH_fs.jpg http://image63.webshots.com/463/5/57/69/21...99iLutKh_fs.jpg

JustAnothaVictim
How long does it take you to do that? Great job! What a labor of love it must be. It took me a couple of hours. That kind of lettering on the jersey is what I would expect to look like if I'd have a jersey customized at a pro-shop. I wouldn't put a 3-layered tackle twill lettering on that jersey if the Canucks never used it like that on their jerseys, that´s not Authentic to me.
