Just heard back from eBay customer service.  They said that the tax department told them:

Still waiting to hear back from customer service to see when and how much I will be refunded.

Thanks @Crash Line for the tip! I owe you a beer, even if you are a devils fan ;)🍻

Just got refunded $88.22 from eBay.  So, not quite the $103.51 I had calculated.  But, close. Only missing refunds for 4 items.  I'll give them a day or two and then inquire about them.

Not really a deal or a steal, but there’s a Blackhawks TBTC on the Authentic Hockey Jersey Addicts FB group for $600. Size 48.

Is that the same guy on ebay selling a pair? If he sells them, good on him, but those prices are insane

I don’t think so. That one was listed at $600. Sold in about 5 minutes. I thought about using my Admin powers to snag it but $600 for a jersey I’d never wear just didn’t feel right. Not that I wear many of my jerseys as it is, but still.

I have to start eBay searching Hawks jerseys, those guys’ fans will pay a mint for the right jerseys...

If yer in it to make some $,.... yes, Hawks stuff is about at it's peak but this also goes for just about any of the TBTC's
48's are $600+ -- 52's and up are $1k +
About the only ones out of the 6 TBTC's that I've seen go for anything less is a Boston jersey but those all got gobbled up pretty quickly by now.

How about the All-Star TBTC’s?  Are they considerably less?  I haven’t looked for a while but I don’t remember them ever being very expensive.

It depends on who all is looking at the same time.
I've seen some go under $400 and they hung around forever, other times when there are a bunch of people looking I've seen them go for $800 - but yeah, a little less that the ones for the Original 6

Nice!
Glad someone here grabbed it... Although if you listened to your wife I'd be posting a steal for myself.

You should listen to your wife! :)

There’s a special place in hell for sellers like that.

Some s*** head who was butt hurt they didn’t get it for a steal had to ruin it for Furious by messaging the seller to let them know they sold it for too low.

b**** move.

That time between you hitting BIN and it actually shipping is stressful.

Just another reason why everyone hates eBay.

And seller cancelled it already. Back up BIN 750. 😐

Holy CRAP!
You don't think it's because I posted it on here do you?
I'm so sorry, that wasn't my intent at all.
Next time I'll wait a day or two before posting a steal.

Can you complain to eBay? Don't they always side with the buyer??

I have no designs on it as I have way to many other things going on right now.
I really feel bad for posting it here if that's what did it.

I don't think you need to feel bad. I've gotten those messages as a seller before - "hey you could have sold that for way more! hey cancel and I'll pay you more!" Lots of jerks out there.

You could try to report this stuff, but what's eBay gonna do? Escort him to the PO to make sure he ships it? Take the listing down and police his account to make sure he can't sell it? Nah. Best just to forget about it.

Again,
I'm sorry if my post screwed things up for you

I will say, since I started watching the new listing the seller has made me two offers - the 1st was for $50 off, to which I replied with an offer of $250 and a message saying "Didn't this jersey sell yesterday for $200? Something smells fishy"
He didn't respond to my message but sent me a counter offer of $650

This guy is shady for sure

I sent the guy a question, "didn't this sell yesterday?"

He replied, "It is still available! The price was wrong on it before! That’s why it was re listed! Are you interested?"

I said, "So did it sell and they just didn't pay? Or was it removed before it sold and relisted." I of course know that answer to that question, I was just curious what his response would be.

He said, "It was sold and re listed after I noticed the price mistake. Let me know if you are interested still or want to make an offer. Comps have sold for way over the asking price!

In which I replied, "So it sold, but then you didn't honor the sale?!?!?"

I did not hear back from him after that.  I hate shady people.  I sold a jersey last week for at least $100 cheaper than what I thought it should have sold for.  Did a b**** and moan about it, of course I did. But I still sold and shipped it out because that is what you are supposed to do.  You win some and you lose some.

I like that we are bombing him with messages to remind him of how shady he handled his sale.

I think we all need to send him an offer of $200 with a note that he should honor his original listing
