Brilliant!
Where'd you get the Cincy retro? Is that a team tag in the collar I see?

Yeah team issued. Grabbed it from Outlawsports for probably about $40. Correction: paid $30.86 CAD. Got some steals from him. Brilliant!
I love that style. I have a reproduction that I made into a Votto but I've looked for the real deal for years and have always come up empty. I can actually get you the Votto numbers for that one if you want. furiousd
Nice! I love just about anything the Twins have ever worn. I've looked at vests before, but wasn't sure what kind of tshirt would look best underneath. What do you go with? (Unless you just go sun's out guns out ?) I've seen them before, but I'm pretty sure they are rare. Overall, they're just nice to have, especially since off the top of my head, only the Rockies wear them still. What were the repros? Just Majestic retail authentics? How much would you want for the numbers? I'm always looking to save shipments to and from the US, so that'd be helpful. Brilliant!
It was actually from an outside company that made up gray uncrested jerseys. I had somebody cut the CINCINNATI and #19 and I put it all on myself. I also have a great looking Astros 1970 throwback from the same company. I have some new stuff! I got some lettering from a big jerk up in Canada yesterday and I was able to wrap up a few incomplete projects (he didn't do them all):
Phil the Thrill
The McCutchen is sweet. So are the Biggio's. Where did you find that Pirates? I gotta get a few of the Flexbases done up. What is the twill like on those? I heard it is a lot different from the Cool Bases and Double Knits.
Brilliant!
I got the Pirates one from a friend of mine who was selling it. I had to jump on it when I saw it. That style is so friggin gorgeous. The only one better to me is the solid yellow pullovers they wore in the 1970's. To your other question though, I'm not sure if there is a different type of twill on the FlexBase jerseys. This was a blank that I found on eBay (for like $60 too) and I had lettering cut from what I'm assuming was just standard twill. I absolutely love the purple Rockies stuff so I'm keeping it as is no matter what.
Phil the Thrill
If you want the Pirates pullover, outlawsports has one up on eBay for auction. Size 44. The Rockies purple is my favourite jersey in the league. Then the A’s kelly green and the Bosox Navy alts.
Brilliant!
A size 44 would be a sausage casing on me. I can do some 46's but I prefer 48's and even 52's in the older Russell and Rawlings styles. Maybe someday I can get back to a 44 but not any time soon. I finally got around to shooting all of my blanks (yeesh) so here they are upcoming. Bare with me.
Brilliant!
Okay here we go. Blanks first than lettered stuff: The Diamondbacks is actually from before the team even played a single game in MLB. I've found shots of press conferences where players were modeling this jersey with that particular sleeve patch on it. It was never used on the field as they redesigned prior to the season. The Reds one is really excellent. I found it on eBay and the guy had taken the tagging and arm patch off. It's absolutely a leftover team jersey because of the PROPERTY OF CINCINNATI REDS tag that was included. I do think though that he sent me the wrong jock tag because it says size 48 but it seems like it's a 52 with extra length in the waist. Brilliant!
The Reds throwback is the one I had mentioned earlier from the outside company. The retro Astros is from the same company. They're very nice quality but my one complaint in the sleeves. They're the raglan style instead of the standard style and can be a little strange to wear. Brilliant!
The Pirates is another leftover team jersey that I found on eBay. From 2002 or 2003 and it not only has the jocktag sewn inside the front portion but there is no Majestic logo on the sleeve either. This is an absolute beauty. It's just too bad that the team was utter dogshit at that time so there really isn't anyone of any quality to put on it. I'm leaning towards an interesting option though so we'll see. Brilliant!
Like that Diamondbacks jersey at the top, this is another one that pre-dates the team playing an actual game. They originally had the rainbow sleeve striping only on the one sleeve in press conferences and media tours during 1997 and early 1998. They redesigned before the season began though to look more like the style underneath it. This one was actually worn at the start of the 2004 season in Japan against the Yankees. They played two games over there and split the series. It's essentially a BP jersey that found it's way onto the field. The Ricoh patch was only ever put on the game-worn jerseys. I really wish I knew how the hell I ever ended up with so many friggin Tampa jerseys.
Phil the Thrill
What would it take to get either that blue rays alt or green alt off your hands. I’ve been dying to find both in reasonable sizes.
Brilliant!
Looks like I'll be buying some Reds jerseys next year. http://news.sportslogos.net/2018/11/06/reds-celebrate-150th-with-15-throwback-uniforms-in-2019/

furiousd
Nice! Are the Baltimore and Cincy team issue?
Brilliant!
They sure are. The Reds one was a project. The previous owner took all the tags and patches off but included them in the sale. You can see the PROPERTY OF CINCINNATI REDS tag that I put back on. So, then I cut the sleeves off and threw the Jackie Robinson to make it identical to their road sets from the 1997 season. Here's more!
Phil the Thrill
I have the exact Cubs to do up (1953 iirc). Doing mine as Rizzo as well. I wanted to do Lester, but Lester wore the 1944 which was very similar (buttons opposed to front zipper). Also that Boggs is sweet. The Rays gradient is awesome. Hockey Bob
I've never seen a baseball jersey with a zipper. I gotta pay more attention
jsh139
Phillies’ jerseys had zippers in the 70s/80s. Would love to get my hands on one of those powder blue ones... Edited January 6, 2019 by jsh139
AParrotLooksAt40
Anyone been to the DBacks Chase Field in late April/May? Is it normal for them to have the roof open for an afternoon/1pm game or would it likely be too hot already? (asking for a toddler)
