I have a 2.0 Roloson gamer in that exact same style.

Edit: it’s also from the 2007/08 season.

Well, I stand corrected then.  It appears that the Oiler goalies did wear 2.0’s during the second set that season.  Also most (if not all) of the team appears to have worn a navy 2.0 for a single promo game that year, so Pisani did actually wear a 2.0 for that one game.  Apologies to all for that oversight.

That’s when my gamer was worn. Regardless, that style gets 1 star for design effort.

Still dipping my toes in older authentics. I just picked up this Ultrafil MDA 48 - This is a big block, right? So this would be what they wore from 1993-96.

Who to get on it? I'm thinking Kariya, I think Selanne only wore this exact style for half a season.

Is AIS still the best place to get this done without waiting 4+ months (EPS)?

AIS doesn’t seem to be able to letter old jerseys today that they used to in the past.  Some people, including myself, have called or e-mailed them about lettering older Kings jerseys, and they ask which numbers and letters you need, and they say they will “try to find any leftovers laying around,” like they are incapable of cutting new kits.  Then you never hear back from them.  Fortunately that Ducks font can be replicated pretty well by other customizers, which is not the case with the Kings.

I don’t have info on the customizing, but Kariya is the correct answer.

That was my gut feeling. Just wish there was someone in the US that could do it without taking 4+ months. Maybe Bobcat?

Isn’t Bobcat the one that took two years to do an order??

Ouch. Well, Lynette at EPS said my order that's currently in line is going to be at least another month (sent in June), I wonder if they could just add it to my order.

My guess would be probably not.

Well that means my order they received June 10 won't be coming back until the start of hockey season.

And Kariya is a good choice. Nice big block CCM.  You know owning one more than likely means you'll soon own 20!😉

Torn between Yashin and Daigle on this guy: https://imgur.com/a/JoegqEZ

And torn between Hossa and Kovalchuck on a Thrashers RBK 6100: https://i.imgur.com/sJdJSm5.jpg

Yeah, Ottawa already did that. Don’t repeat history.

Now that’s a tough choice.  That is, to anyone except Mfitz804.  😊

Correct. Hossa or wiping your Arse is a more valid choice.

So... for a 2015-2017 Edge 2.0 home Blue Jackets, it's down to Foligno or Atkinson.  Really can't decide.  Help!

I'd go Atkinson

Thanks. I think that's how I'll go, especially since my other CBJ jersey (an alternate) is a Bobrovsky, and it would be a little odd to have #72 and #71 for my only two.

Im toying with the idea of making a 1998 Skills Competition jersey. I think it is weird to have an authentic jersey + add the flag patch, but it is a cool rarity. What does everyone think?

I like the idea.  It would match something he wore, and it would be different and rare.  Thumbs up.

Thank you for the reply.  I'm probably going to end up doing it because Im a for patches.

Also, on the subject of patches, I have a MIC Isles blank adidas (stripped GI).  I dont know if I should go Barzal with a centennial NHL patch or Wang/Torrey patches. Barzal won the Calder with the NHL 100 patch, but how often can you go 3 patches?

I love the idea of the All-Star skills jerseys since they're fairly rare. From my count the only times that a patch was worn for the All-Star game was in '98 and not again until 2016. It has since become an annual tradition to sport the patch. I have one done up as Gretzky with the canadian flag since I'm a sucker for patches and it was during his '98 season when he came in 4th in Art Ross. Also, will be doing up a McDonagh from the '16 game and from the '17 game which will be a triple patch (Rangers 90th, NHL 100th, and All-Star skills).

Nah, as a Kovalchuk fan, it is an easy choice for me as well.

Edit: Didn't pay attention and realized I was replying to a post from September, oops.

And I see Mfitz is a Devils fan, completely understand the dislike of Kovalchuk in that case.
