Krendelev
Someone needs to start up a new professional hockey league in North America to kick the NHL in the a$$. Sign players away from the NHL and break the monopoly. Maybe then the owners will see the foolishness of listening to Bettman. A 14 or 16 team league, maybe 20 teams, with a 60 game schedual would be good.
sungod661
I remember in the last lockout this was proposed and was set to begin with Bobby Hull as one of the faces of the new league but it never got of the ground because investors pulled out. I dont believe this will happen given the death of SO many start up leagues WHA,XFL,IHL ECT...
ConcreteCharlie
You mean WHA? There was talk of a "new WHA" last time. Obviously the KHL is pretty ambitious in Europe but their business model of billionaires with expensive toys/rinky dink money laundering opportunities won't hold. This is not Colombian futbol in the time of cartels. Sadly, we are stuck with the NHL and its shenanigans.
