Today this arrives. Coincidence? I think not. I finally popped my Rbk Edge cherry!!! Before now I had never owned a Premier or Authentic or anything in the EDGE era. I feel like I can finally relate to people's comments on them. Couple of things: - Great shout by whoever said that CCM authentic size + 6 = EDGE authentic size. If this jersey wasn't a 1.0 the sleeves would be the perfect length and the whole jersey would fit perfect. - I LOVE the cut of EDGE jerseys. Infinitely better than the box-cut CCMs. Atlanta Thrashers home jersey - Rbk EDGE 1.0 BNWT - Sz. 50 Born on 14/7/2008 say the tags. One day I hope to get Kovy put on this. Posted April 23, 2015 Author Report Share Posted April 23, 2015 Funny story that the originals around here may recall: Waaaaay back in like 2006, I had ordered a jersey through IJ and ended up receiving a bag full of curtains. Needless to say, I was beyond perplexed. The day after, I got a phone call from a woman in Kentucky saying she received a blue Vancouver Canucks Vintage jersey instead of her window treatments. D-oh! The next one is a game used Darcy Tucker jersey with the 1999 allstar patch. It's got a ton of what looks to be blood. Also has some holes in the sleeves. Blank Coyotes Throwback - Courtesy of The Baron. These are every bit as good as people say, just beautiful. Not a fan of the velcro near the end of the sleeves though. Brian Boyle and Brad Richards gamers also have that. Love the Leetch. Just sent one to EPS to have the same thing done myself. The velcro is weird but it's a nice detail, along with the reinforced collar and fight strap, that separates it even further from the retail versions. I really like the font of those ASG jerseys. I've got an old Nashville game issued that uses the same but theirs were sublimated (including fake stitches between the 'layers'). The Leetch is stacked twill by comparison. cferneyh Posted April 25, 2015 Report Share Posted April 25, 2015 The latest to my collection of ex-Leaf gamers, in the sub-category of "Disappointing Leaf Draft Picks" - a Drake Berehowsky 03/04 Penguins home. Lots of stick marks on this one and I love the texture of the white in the letters and numbers. Only bummer is I'm having a heck of a time trying to find pics of Berehowsky in this jersey. The Getty Images of him from that season are all the road whites and the only pic I've been able to find of him in the home black is below. Maybe since the Penguins had an 18 game losing streak during 03/04 the team has hired hackers to delete all evidence that they played any games at home.
