DHD28
Nah I think this one is going to stay blank. I love the fit and feel of the Nike mesh. Might be my go-to bar gamenight sweater.

tbart
This actually arrived a few weeks ago, a Ray Bourque size 52, 1984-85 CCM mesh, with the born on date tag. I'm going to strip the nameplate and have the correct font added by Custom Crafted.

catofadiferntskn
Nah, that Hawks jersey is a 96/97. I'm guessing he'll go with Chelios. What makes it a 96/97 vs a 97-99? Edited August 24, 2015 by catofadiferntskn

LAK74
What makes it a 96/97 vs a 97-99? As someone else already asked me about this in a PM, I'll just copy my reply here: As TMLFAN said, I'm being really picky about details, and my post was actually made half in jest. The Nike jerseys themselves between 1996-99 aren't really different from each other except for some differences in the tagging. For 1996-97, most of the jerseys had an "R" next to the NHL shield on the hem. This seemed to disappear after that season. The 1996/97's and 97/98's had the older-style Center Ice tags that looked very much like the ones on 1990's CCM's. In 1998/99 they switched to a white/black/orange one, in a similar manner to what Starter did beginning in 1997/98 with their Center Ice tags. On the Nike brand/size tag on most of the 1996/97's, the font of the text "Engineered to the exact specifications of championship athletes" is rather thin, and the tag borders have less gray area visible relative to the black. Around 1997/98 (including later sets closer to the end of the 96/97 season), the same text becomes just a bit bolder and wider looking. Also the borders of the tag show relatively less black than gray. There are also some notable differences in the shape of the jersey size numbers. This newer Nike tag continued up to and including the 1998/99 season. It's easy to see the differences with the 2 tags next to each other: 1996/97: 1998-99: Note that there are some exceptions to what I've stated above, especially in gameworns, where teams often used leftover jerseys from a previous season to use in the current season, so you will see many jerseys that don't fit the pattern. Also, the changes regarding the presence/absence of the "R", and the Nike brand/size tag do not occur exactly at the beginning or ending of any particular season, so the features I mentioned cannot always be considered definitive for a particular season. But in the case of DHD28's jersey, it had the "R" next to the NHL shield, the older Nike brand tag and Center Ice tag, so I was sure his was a 96/97. On other models, especially 1997/98's, you can't always be 100% sure just by looking at the tags. Edited August 24, 2015 by LAK74

Devilsguy
Maybe it's the angle, but the A on the front of the jersey doesn't look right to me, especially the top of it. Great snag, even though it would be something I would send to EPS to re-customized and put a nameplate on (yeah I am that fickle).

The font of everything is totally wrong, sleeve numbers are about 3/4 of an inch short. It's already been stripped and is going to EPS to be an Andy Greene. Stripped nice and clean too, not that it's hard to cover a 9 with a 6.

mfitz804
Got this from MeiGray with a number but no name. My favorite goon wore #17, so I sent it to EPS to be finished: This one replaces a similar EDGE jersey I had. Also had the JM patch added since I didn't have one already.
