guam64 Posted December 22, 2015 Report Share Posted December 22, 2015 Recent arrivals: Decided to pick up Carlson's home set 1 since I was able to photomatch this jersey and he's been wearing the A after Orpik got put into a nursing home and kept it til the end of this set. Since the A was only supposed to be temporary and be removed any time they only did a half-assed stitching job on it: I was able to photomatch the repairs on the right sleeve to a photo from Backstrom's goal vs the Marlies with 0.8 seconds left: Didn't hesitate on this one when I saw it on ebay for less than $50 shipped.I have been looking for this style for a while now. Last year I flirted with collecting other teams outside the Devils and got myself a Stastny Avs gamer as I always at least somewhat liked their jerseys. After about a month I realized that I really didn't care much for it and sold it. There are a lot of cool looking jerseys out there but eventually the novelty of the look wears off on most shirts. I was waiting on the Wild in particular, since it's got a nice Festivus color scheme to it, and it took a 2-week Priority Mail tour of the country. The Hawks and Stars are from authenticsports19, subject of recent discussion in the ebay thread. They're both pristine as far as I can see, both with recent born-on tags. I'll buy again.
