Jamie McLennan 2003/04 Rangers Liberty. He only played four games for the Rangers and probably sat on the bench while wearing this one, but I'm always happy to add another Rangers goalie gamer. This one has a split collar, hemmed sleeves, and the fight strap has been cut out of it:

Jason Labarbera LA Kings 2008 2.0. Plenty of wear and team repairs. Photomatched to puckmarks and stitched repair on the chest above the logo. What I find amusing about this jersey is that after everybody has gone nuts waiting on Bobcat taking forever to crank out customer orders, and all the overlooked details that we've learned about their Kings customizations, this one was practically thrown together. The name and numbers on the back are fine, but as for the sleeves, the 3's are taller and kiss-cut, while the 5's are shorter, and stacked three layer twill. Also, the 3's are super clean looking while it looks like "Midwest Sports Lettering" did the 5's (would also explain the turnaround time)

I'm not knocking Bobcat for their work at all, I just find it funny after all I've learned about them over the past few years. In fact, I love the jersey because of it.

This is my seventh LaBarbera gamer, and I hope to have a couple more on the way soon:

Nice Kings and her imperfections, I like it. Is that Kirk Hammet on his helmet?

And some Penguins goalies:

Sebastien Caron 2003/04, AND 2005/06 Pittsburgh Penguins. This one is quite special to me for a few reasons. This style Pens jersey is the one that got me HOOKED on hockey jerseys, which snowballed like hell into the overstuffed closet I now have. Also, Caron's Penguins mask was the basis for my one and only ever custom painted mask. I've photomatched this one to several pics with puck marks on the sleeves. Interestingly enough, since this jersey was used before AND after the 2004/05 lockout, they sewed a Reebok vector patch to a piece of black twill and stitched that over the original Koho logo, and also sewed a Reebok style NHL patch over the embroidered one on the hem:

Then, I picked up a Bench-worn jersey of his from the GameOne games from the 2000/01 season that kicked off in Japan:

And last one for now, a Jeff Zatkoff game-issued WBS 15th anniversary alternate. He was a full-time Pittsburgh backup this season, but the customization still makes this one cool to add to the collection:

I have one more goalie gamer on the way later this week. Can't wait to finally receive it. It's going to be something "Brilliant"!

This threads blown up this morning. Here's my contribution of one of the greatest goal scorers in Nhl history (708 to be exact). Love me some TML ultrafil.

Awesome jerseys guys!

I can see the focus getting tighter in your collection Biggoalie. I love seeing those goalie jerseys...very cool stuff!

Can't argue with that Leafs Gartner at all! Great player on a classic Ultrafil!

Biggoalie, that LaBarbera Kings is really interesting; I haven't seen anything like that on a recent Kings jersey. There doesn't seem to be any reason for the 5 to be stacked (or smaller), as they were kiss-cut the previous season too. Btw, I don't think Bobcat actually did that jersey; it may have been one of the last ones done by AIS/Sportsrobe.

"Midwest Sports Lettering," LOL!

When did Bobcat take over? I assumed the 5's came from whatever stock Bobcat may have picked up from the previous company may have had left floating around when they stopped doing the Kings jerseys.

I think it was 2009 that Bobcat took over. Bobcat lettered those jerseys kiss-cut style from the start, but even AIS did them kiss-cut before that starting with the 2007 Edge. It might possibly be an old leftover from the 6100 era, as those were layered and some were smaller than the Edge numbers.

Thanks. I suspected it was from the 6100 jerseys.

Nice pickups

Exactly what they did with that Caron Koho, I am doing with a Palffy Pens. I had a Koho made up and realize it's RBK that season. I prefer the Koho to the RBK anyway, so it's just a matter of finding the vector. We'll see if Reebok gets back to me on it. And I'm not dealing with the putting that ugly thing Reebok applied to the tail hem...good enough!

The COA states this one was from 2008 (that's it. No 2007/08, or 2008/09 on it).

It's like they were closing up shop on their last Friday and said "F@ck it! We're out of here!" Lol

If it's a 2008/09, there should be a tag in the collar that says LOS ANGELES KINGS OFFICIAL GAME JERSEY with a code below, like 08K___. If it's a 2007/08, there usually is a tag that says 2007-08 GAME JERSEY. But some may not have had any tags.
