EPS confirmed today that Vegas will not wear the inaugural season patch in the Final, so if you’re like me and you have two inaugural season patches and two SCF patches on the way, you’ll need separate sets of jerseys for them.

Perfect reason to buy two extra jerseys. Obviously.

Looking for 2011 All Star game Washington Capitals team shoulder patch. Anyone have any idea?  JB has nothing. Couldn't find on eBay. Hmmm...

That’s the closest patch I’ve seen as well, but in other pics the top of the game patch appears to be cut differently- the outline seems to follow the contour of the stars:

I suppose if you’re good with a knife you could surgically alter the patch border.  Even if not, I think I’d probably be OK with the patch as it is.

Yeah, there aren’t many options out there. Assuming you can live with that little detail that patch is like 99% of the way there.

I have a quick question about older SCF patches ranging from 1990-1999.

Does anyone know if there would be a variation in patches worn by the opposing teams. The specific example I'm looking into is the 1991 patch, so basically would there maybe be some differences between the SCF patch the Pens wore and the patch the North Stars wore in the finals?

Intentionally?  No, I don't think so.  But from patch to patch you'll find ever so slight variations just from the production process.  About the only major difference from patch to patch that you'll see is the thickness of the "CHAMPIONSHIP" text at the bottom.  Everything else is within a range of expected variation.  Even the patches for each team are slightly different from patch to patch.

The National Emblem Caps patch is a lot smaller than the actual patch used on the shoulder of ASG and Hershey jerseys.
