Depends on the situation, but usually after 3 days of zero contact, you aren't going to be getting paid. I typically wait until the 5th day, unless there is a weekend or holiday in there, or if the would-be buyer has made some kind of contact. In this day and age, everyone is connected to the internet and should be able to respond within a couple days. Even if they aren't, and they are going somewhere they will have no internet access, then I'd expect them to let you know that before they go. You don't want to do it too quickly because you can risk pissing the buyer off who can then leave you negative feedback after they pay for it.
