Those sewn and chain-stitched numbers are spectacular.

Looks like each piece of the candy-cane numbers are individual pieces sewn on. Amazing.

The fakers are learning....check out the fight strap attachment.....not perfect but it is cleaner looking than "standard" fakes

Luckily they keep getting the neck tag wrong on vintage jerseys. Anyhow, those fakes still are dangerous.

yeah there are other things on the jersey that are wrong (e.g. each colour stripe is stitched together) but the fight strap is one step closer to being like the real deal.

As always the price is usually an indication as well. That jersey new without tags would be an assload more than $150.

How long do you guys normally wait to file an unpaid item claim?

Depends on the situation, but usually after 3 days of zero contact, you aren't going to be getting paid.

I typically wait until the 5th day, unless there is a weekend or holiday in there, or if the would-be buyer has made some kind of contact.

In this day and age, everyone is connected to the internet and should be able to respond within a couple days. Even if they aren't, and they are going somewhere they will have no internet access, then I'd expect them to let you know that before they go.

I usually give them a week, but then I am a generous god.

You don't want to do it too quickly because you can risk pissing the buyer off who can then leave you negative feedback after they pay for it.

I'll try to make contact after 5 days to a week. If I don't hear back within a couple days then I report it.

I typically make contact with full disclosure on when or what day payments or shipping will occur.
