Awesome, thanks guys!

Ok...one other question. I can't find a picture to clarify which patch the Flyers use...there's this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/PHILADELPHIA-FLYERS-OFFICIAL-NHL-LOGO-PATCH-SEALED-/200500552461?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item2eaec3a30d#ht_500wt_922

Or this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310143196889&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

The second one I think is right...the top one has too small of an orange circle and I'm pretty sure the wings are staggered, but I can't confirm.

The 1st one is right - I have a Gagne All Star jersey and it's an exact match. Everything nerdgirl sells is a reproduction.

Has anyone ever had any luck removing the plastic patches off Premier jerseys and replacing them with fabric ones? I've seen these on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/CHICAGO-BLACKHAWKS-SHOULDER-PATCHS-3rd-JERSEY-TOMAHAWKS_W0QQitemZ250673209908QQihZ015QQcategoryZ24510QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

And now I'm very tempted to send my Hawks 3rd jersey out to get the crappy plastic patches removed and these ones put in its place. Anyone have any advice or experience from dealing with this operation? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I really don't pay too much attention to this thread, but if anyone is looking for a Canucks 40th, here it is http://cgi.ebay.com/Vancouver-Canucks-40th-Anniversary-Patch-1970-2010-/300487895134?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item45f679685e

I am sorry if it was already posted.

Yes, I took those crappy printed patches off all of my Canadiens Centennial jerseys and replaced them with embroidered ones. Turned out great. Sometimes you will find they differ a bit in size or shape. I also have a Dallas All-Star patch I want to swap out but am afraid to do so because of the difference in shapes.

Thanks for taking the time to answer but this is a reproduction.

No problem, sorry I couldn't find the right one. They will probably make it later on in the year.

Opinions on this patch??

Leafs 75th Patch

I can't find pics of gamers that have this patch to compare.....

That patch was never worn on a jersey. It was only a sticker that they put on the helmets.

Oh, I thought it was......I guess that would explain why I couldn't find pics of gamers then..........

Of all the patches that SHOULD have been worn on a jersey, the Maple Leafs 75th Anniversary patch ranks right up there at the top with the Sabres 30th Anniversary and the fact the Canadiens did not wear a Rocket Richard memorial patch. Grrrrrrrr........

This sounds like a good rant for my blog.

Don't forget the Red Wings' 75th Anniversary patch from 2000-01. They put it on there, then got a call from the league office wanting to know why they were wearing a patch that they never bothered to file the paperwork for.

Scouring through Getty, it looks like the latest possible first game for that patch was October 19, 2000 against Nashville. They definitely had them on for the home opener (October 11 against Edmonton), which was their third game of the season. I don't know if they had them on for games #4 (October 12 at Chicago), #5 (October 15 against Calgary), or #6 (October 17 against St. Louis).

I understood that the Red WIngs 75th was worn once on the white jerseys and then they were told to remove it.
