Never spent any time looking at them before and have preferred the Canadian made 2.0's for obvious reasons. While the quality isn't that of a 2.0, I was pleasantly surprised. It's not THAT bad. Definitely a ton better than a Premier. They're not as bad as some people have made them out to be. How many people here are wearing a jersey and need a fight strap to be double or triple stitched to hold it down? No one. As much as I love the Starter jerseys, I don't see anyone giving them grief for selling El Salvador jerseys as "authentic" when they really weren't. Are the Indo's perfect, no. Are there errors in some instances, yes. I have a Jackets home that has the shoulder patches sewn on too low on the shoulder. But I laugh when I see people say they want a jersey "just like what is worn on ice", but they get it in a 46, or a 50, or a 52. How may of those sizes were worn on-ice last season, or the season before, or the season before that? I'll bet ZERO is the correct answer. jsh139
Not trying to dispute the validity of your post regarding the indos, but there are plenty of players that wear a size 52 Edge. Both my Flyers gamers are size 52 and I know there are plenty of players on the current roster that wear a 52. Ghost, Giroux and Del Zotto to name a few. No idea about other teams, but 52 isn't a too uncommon gameworn size. But, in the end, whatever size people choose to buy is their own choice and obviously they have the right to spend their money however they want
SnakeOiler12
Mike Richards was a perennial size 52 guy as well. Flyers have a ton of guys that wear 54s as well FWIW.
jsh139
Yep, I was thinking of grabbing a Richards Kings GW from Meigray but they're still so overpriced, even after a 40% discount.
JoeM7392
Pair of pick-ups that cost me way less than they should have. Bauer River Rats, got on eBay from somebody in Malaysia for $50. Not sure how an Albany jersey ends up on the other side of the world, but its back where it belongs now. And a stadium series that I picked up for ~$100. Not sure how it didn't go higher. Oh, and there's also this. I already have a red though, need the white one.

But you missed the whole point. I see guys (and some gals) on here obsessing over vectors, and fight straps, and fonts, and serifs, because they want their jersey to be accurate, yet the absolute most important thing is wrong, the size. Just because there are one or two players that wear a 52 in the Edge, that doesn't make that point. Frankly, I don't care, but I've been on this site for 9 years now, and a collector for over 25, and I have seen some interesting views posted here. Bordering on snobbery to people who have replicas, or Indo's, or their jersey isn't customized "just right". But a lot of the people who "throw shade", if I can use that expression, often are the biggest offenders themselves. A lot of good collectors and posters here have been run off. Shame. So I'm going to climb off my yearly soapbox rant. But one last thing. As someone who has spent the last 25 years negotiating on a daily basis, I'll leave you, and everyone, with one piece of solid advice I got years ago. Don't wast your time arguing an indefensible point.

Just second-tier authentics. My Indo red Hawks will always be a crown jewel of my collection even though it's beaten to hell because it was my first. Don't wast your time arguing an indefensible point. Oh, I didn't miss your point. I just chose not to comment on it. You're someone who believes that an on-ice authentic jersey isn't truly authentic unless it's in the same size that the player wore. That's great, you're entitled to your opinion. I was merely saying that there are some players in the NHL that wear a size 52. Everyone has their opinion about what makes a jersey "authentic". Some people want it customized by the same company that does the team's jerseys. Some people couldn't care less how accurate the lettering is. Some people nitpick every last detail. It's such a gray area. I'm sorry that it's gotten you so stressed out! Collect what you want and we'll do the same
spudrock512
I have had this jersey for a little while now, but I have just converted it into a proper 2.0 jersey with vector logo to make a 2010 Stanley Cup jersey for the Conn Smythe winner Johnathan Toews.
